The state Election Commission has been asked to re-nominate candidates who have not submitted their nominations during the panchayat elections or where all their nominations have been rejected. However, the statutory notice will be issued on the 27th.
Nominations will be submitted from the 29th to the 31st of this month, with the verification process scheduled to take place on February 1, while the verified list will be released on the 2nd. However, the final list of candidates will be released on the same day with the withdrawal of nominations on the 4th. Nominations will be submitted for more than 4,000 ward members, 7 sarpanches and 6 samiti members.
