The High Court will be closed from today until the 17th of this month. Work on the High Court office will resume on the 18th


The High Court will be closed from today in view of the Covid situation. The state government has said in a statement that the number of cases of covid 19 disease in the High Court has risen sharply.

The High Court has issued a notice.  Work will resume at the High Court office on January 18.  Earlier, on January 13 and 17, the bench had adjourned the hearing.


According to the notification, the case will be heard in a limited bench from January 18 to February 4. During this time, only the most urgent cases will be heard in two two-judge benches and seven-judge benches. Cases that are scheduled for a special hearing between January 18 and February 4 will be scheduled for hearing from February 7.


The full court referendum to be held on the 13th will be held on January 18 at 2 p.m. A SOP has also been issued by the High Court regarding the status of the corona.

The statement from People's Daily said, "We want everyone to work together for the betterment of the country, and for the people to be able to stand up for themselves.  It is pertinent to mention here that the High Court had already been closed for some time as a result of the corona infection situation.
