The excitement of fast-paced cricket will grow even more. It would be difficult for a team that is bowling a little bit wrong. This is because the ICC has introduced new rules for T20 cricket. Under the new rules, the bowling team will complete the overtime within the stipulated time.If the team is not complete bowling schedule, it will be expensive for the bowling team in the remaining overs. In these remaining overs, one player has to be within 30 yards. Earlier, after the power play, there were five players outside the 30 yards. However, if the over is not completed within the allotted time, the remaining 4 players will be out of 30 yards in the remaining overs.Which will benefit the batting team. The amended rules will apply for the first time in a match between the West Indies and Ireland on January 16.
A statement from the ICC said that in the past, match fees were deducted as a penalty for slow overs and the captain was excluded from some matches. But in addition to this rule, the new rule will also apply to slow overs. Under the new rules, the bowling team must score the first ball of the last over within the stipulated time.If not, it will be considered a slow overdraft. As a result, one player has to be brought in within 30 yards. The new rules have been introduced as per the recommendations of the ICC Cricket Committee. In addition to this rule, a two-and-a-half-minute drink break rule per innings has been applied to the bilateral series. So both teams need to agree from the start of the series.
