Nominations for the Panchayat Elections from today: Prospective candidates are awaiting the list of party candidates


Nominations for the panchayat elections will be submitted today. The nomination process will begin today and will continue until the 21st. The nomination papers will be reviewed on the 22nd.  Candidates can withdraw their candidatures within 25 days if they wish. Prospective candidates have prepared all the documents. Prospective candidates are just waiting for the party's list of candidates to be released.  Panchayat elections are currently being held in Covid Guidelines.

The State Election Commission (SEC) has banned large-scale rallies and rallies in the wake of the outbreak. Candidates are now preaching from village to village and from house to house. Voting will take place in five phases this time.  Voting will take place on February 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24.  Ward members, Sarpanchs and Samiti members will file nominations in the block office and Zilla Parishad members in the sub-district commissioner's office. Elections are being held for 91,913 ward members, 6794 sarpanches, 6793 samiti members and 853 zilla parishad members.
