A year has passed since the vaccination in the country: Read how many vaccines have been given to whom?


The country has been vaccinated for a year. The first vaccination program in the country was launched on January 16, 2021. The vaccine was first given to health workers, then to the corona warriors, and then to senior citizens and later to different age groups. Vaccination programs are in full swing with the first and second doses of the vaccine. By adopting the Basudhaiva Kutumbakam policy, the Government of India is vaccinating the countrymen as well as the various nations as required. India has so far vaccinated 100 countries. More than 156 crore doses have been vaccinated in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, 92.02 percent of the people in the country have received the first dose and 68 per cent have received the second dose.

Vaccination of health workers and frontline fighters from January 16, 2021.  Vaccination of senior citizens and people with various diseases from March 1, 2021. Vaccines for people over the age of 45 from April 2021. Vaccines for people over the age of 18 th May 2021. Vaccination of children aged 15 to 18 years from January 2022. Booster dose to health workers, frontline fighters and 60-year-olds from January 10, 2022.
