The United States has strongly condemned Russia's attack on Ukraine. Biden on Tuesday decided to impose a ban on oil imports from Russia. The U.S. is said to have made the decision to cripple Russia’s economy.
According to the Associated Press, US President Joe Biden has decided to impose sanctions on Russia's economy by tightening toll on Russia's economy in retaliation for the attack on Ukraine. Many countries have imposed sanctions on Russia since the attack on Ukraine. Russia, however, continues to fight despite the ban.
Russia's largest energy company, Sell, announced on Tuesday that it would stop buying oil and natural gas from Russia due to the situation created by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Shell issued a statement announcing that it would gradually suspend all purchases of hydrocarbons, crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas and LNG from Russia.
